I had 2 heart-broken little girls on my hands Wednesday night. Then we saw a preview for the Today Show and it advertised that David A would be be there in concert. Emma said "oh good - he has a concert already"! And that made her feel much better!
I am soooo bummed he didn't win. In my opinion, he was the best singer on the show. I would get goosebumps when he sang. I know- I am such a nerd! I am positive now the show is rigged. lol At least I know I did my part and voted for him for a whole hour straight!! Maybe he can lead a somewhat normal life now. We shall see, right?
I was surprise "the other" David didn't win too. I thought from the beginning he had it in the bag. I will miss him too..I'm sure there are great things in store for him.
I was totally happy with the results, and the way the Davids seemed to be such good friends, and truly respectful of eachother. Both are excellent guys, uber-talented, and both will have excellent careers - it doesn't matter who won! You'll still have the chance to buy DA's CD soon, I'm sure!
So I didn't really follow this year (am I allowed to say that?) But I did watch the final singing show, and I thought that DC was a better perfomer, but that DA had a better voice. I could have gone either way. In my opinion though, May is just in general a sad month since we have to say goodbye to so many good shows.
Poor Archie. I'm curious to see what kind of an album he makes. I was torn between the Davids because they were both talented and they both seemed like such nice guys. I'm sure they'll both be very successful.

I am so sad too! I'm sure that he will get a record contract though so we will just have to buy his CD then.
I am not sad, because he willl still be huge! I liked David Cook too, he was way more mature. I would have been happy either way:)
He is such a cutie. He is so amazingly talented for as young as he is. Even though I was sad, he will definitely have a great career ahead of him.
