Yesterday we decided to go up to Cunningham Falls for a little hike and family time. It was beautiful weather so we picked up some subs and headed up. Brady loves being outside and he was so good in the car and strapped to Nick all afternoon! We decided on the shorter, less treacherous hike and just walked it twice and it was a great time and good exercise. The falls at the end are the bonus. Nick climbed to the top of the falls while Brady and I cheered from below! Here are some pics of our day! Oh yeah, also, while we were walking, this deer was just 100 feet from us up in the woods. So neat!

This 4th of July was a blast. Our ward holds an annual breakfast that is totally worth getting up at 8am for! We had bought Brady a little sailor outfit to celebrate the day and he was darling in it!

After the breakfast, we watched Nick play in the ward softball game. We got to spend some time with our friends Amber and her daughter Savannah (who could possibly be his future wife!!).
Please notice how calm Savannah is and how Brady is.....well, not!
After the park, we headed over to the church where the festival of sports continued with Nick playing a little b-ball with the guys. We didn't mind though because Brady got a good nap and I got to have some more adult conversation - a rarity - with Amber! That afternoon, after a LONG celebratory 4th of July nap, we went to my parents for a pool party/bbq with some friends from the ward. Such a great day together as a family!
