Five days over due and after 19 hours of labor, little Brooklyn James is here. Nick's sister Becca gave birth to our newest nephew yesteday and we couldn't be more excited. The whole family gathered at the hospital awaiting his arrival. We had no idea it would take as long as it did, so alternate methods of entertainment were necessary. Here, Nick is giving our niece, Alex, rides on a wheelchair. Luckily, we had this whole waiting area to ourselves.

And here he is with his mommy, Becca. This is about 15 minutes after she had him - not looking bad at all!
Here's the new family - Zack, Becca and little Brooklyn. Zack was just an awesome coach. We are all so proud of both of them.
Here's Brooklyn getting all checked out. He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz. and was 20 inches long. He is so beautiful and we are all already so in love with him. We can't wait until they come home so we can smother him with hugs and kisses. Congratulations you guys. We love you!

You are so cute! 5 days overdue...now I understand about the castor oil. I thought she wasn't due for a few more weeks. You are the best sister-in-law ever by the way. lol
Yay!...new nephews are so fun!!! I love reading your blog because I can hear you talking while I'm reading it. You write it exactly how you would say it. Does that make any sense?
