Not to be forgotten!

I was reading over my blog and realized that I haven't written too much about what Nick has been up to these days! As I use this as an addition to my journal, I want to document all that he has been doing these days. On top of working full time at Hopkins, he is preparing to apply to nurse anesthetist programs for entrance in 2009. He is taking an online Bio Chemistry class and simultaneously studying for the CCRN Exam(Critical Care Registered Nurse) which is very important to have if you want to do anestesia. Not to mention he has to fill out applications, write essays and take care of his sometimes whiny pregnant wife! It is incredible how hard he works and how much he takes on to ensure a wonderful future for us. I not only love him but I respect him so much for planning ahead and doing ALL that is required of him to make him the best candidate for this masters program. It's so great to have a partner, a real companion that works so hard our family. I will need to re-read this in about a month when it's closer to the tests and he locks himself in the office!!! :-)

Sounds like you got a good one. Thanks for the reminder of all that husbands do, especially husbands who are students too.

Way to go Nick!! Nate and I look up to you guys a lot. Good luck with all the studying and Amanda I don't believe for a second that you're a whiny pregnant wife. You are the most postitive person I have ever met in my life. Hang in there guys.

It's hard standing by and watching isn't it? It's been 2 years with my husband locked in the office and I'm ready for him to come out. Good luck with everything!

That all makes me tired just from reading it. You forgot to mention the fact that you guys have to move right in the middle of all of that. I still don't want to talk about it.

I keep rehearsing the same motivational pep talk to myself, "Patience is a virtue...You can do it for three more years... in the end you'll be glad that you did... Patience is a virtue... You can do it for three more years... in the end you'll be glad that you did...
