My biggest problem was always that you want the "first haircut" to be a big occasion. When in all reality, all they really need is a trim around the ears, and maybe around the neck in order to not look shaggy. That is my experience with my kids though. Not saying that I actually cut their hair, they were shaggy for a long time. :)
You know how I feel about his hair. LOVE IT. When we cut Tommy's curls off, they never grew back and he was automatically 18ish. But there comes a time to clean a boy up and mother knows best when that time is.

Either cut, or start dressing him in pink and putting bows in. Your choice.

just a little trim - to clean him up a bit! He will automatically look older - but...he is!
