Dear Avery,

Hi! It's mom. I thought I should say a few things before you met your family tomorrow! First of all, I love you my darling daughter. At times I have been afraid and anxious. There have been many moments of this pregnancy that I felt overwhelmed and unprepared. But never once did I ever not love you or want you. Having a little girl is a dream come true and I can't wait to see your precious face! I wanted to tell you about all the wonderful people that you have as your family. First is your daddy. Nobody's perfect but he is pretty perfect in all the ways that really matter. He is loving and kind. He's funny and playful. He is spiritual and he loves his Savior. He works hard everyday for our family and he is very excited to meet you!!! Next is your big brother Brady. He's the sweetest boy you will ever meet. We hope that you two will be best friends and take good care of each other. He's a happy boy and full of energy. He will run circles around you but will always leave a smile on your face. He is full of love, hugs and kisses. This may be a little overwhelming to you at first but know that he will always love you and be your protector. In addition to our little family, you have five aunts, four uncles, six cousins, four grandparents and five great grandparents. Each of these people already loves you and anxiously awaits your arrival also. They are all such good people who mean so much to your mommy and daddy and have really shaped who we are. Look up to them always. Trust their judgment and their love for you. Two of your grandparents live far away in Bosnia but they couldn't love you anymore if they were right here. They will know you because we will talk about you all the time and send lots of pictures. Your grandma, Menga, is coming in October to visit you and that will be a very special time for both of you. Your other grandparents live ten minutes down the street. They are around a lot and you will meet them tomorrow! They are mommy's parents and they mean the world to her and I know you will love them too! You should also know that we know you are a daughter of God and that nothing is more important than that knowledge. Your daddy gave me a blessing tonight and in it said that you have been anxiously waiting to come down to earth to spread joy. I think you have already started that journey little girl! I can't wait to be your mommy!! What a lucky girl I am to have you! Always remember that we love you!!! Love, Mommy & Daddy
