I hope they call me on a mission...

Nick had a great idea to do a missionary family home evening to help Brady start saving for his mission. We decided to talk about why they are important and we need to have a testimony of the our Heavenly Father. We also officially started his mission fund that night and it was so exciting for Brady to drop the coins in his mission jar. We know he is only two but we want him to know that we want him to serve a mission, that we think it is a great honor and a blessing, and that we support him in that endeavor. It was a fun night to share with my parents as he got to see their excitement in putting coins in his mission jar as well. To think that this little boy will one day get to spread the gospel is so exciting to me and really puts things in perspective. He will learn first by our example and then by our words. I love that he is already learning about Jesus and our Heavenly Father. He knows what temples are and loves to point out pictures of them to us. And nothing makes my heart warmer than when he prays! I am so grateful for my understanding of the gospel and equally grateful to have a husband who lives it and understands its importance as well!

Oh that is so cute!! It's never too young I think to start teaching. Isn't it amazing how they are little sponges at this age?! He is one cute little missionary!
